A Brief Background
Ariyon spent his boyhood among merchants in a caravan, being raised amidst a group that hailed from across Eorzea and beyond instilled in him a deep love of the open road and of the many stories that lay in wait just begging to be experienced. He stayed with the caravan until his adoptive father settled down in Ul'dah to open a less nomadic business, where the boy got his first taste of city life.It was within these walls that he'd hear grander tales from merchants travelling abroad as well as adventurers making their way to and from the Quicksands, and from there it only seemed like fate that the young man would set out when he came of age to blaze his own trails and see the world on his own terms.Now he seeks new stories both grand and small, eager to hear how the people he meets live and more than happy to share the stories he's both heard and lived and keen to leave behind a bright spot in the day for those he crosses paths with.

A Familiar Face
Ariyon spends a good deal of time in the Black Shroud and Thanalan alike, plying his trade as a Goldsmith and offering his skills for commissioned work. He can also be found lingering around the adventurer's guilds of Gridania and Ul'dah, eagerly listening to tales of old and new adventurers alike. And eager to offer an experienced perspective to adventurous youths.
A Helping Hand
Ariyon is an experienced adventurer, and a seasoned traveler. And is quick to offer his help to those he comes across in his own travels, regardless of what predicament they might find themselves.
A Wide Network
Ariyon has many connections with merchants and traders from his time as both an adventurer and caravanner. Keeping friends as far east as Kugane who trade goods and information in equal parts. To that end he speaks the language well, almost too well for someone who doesn't make his way out too often.
A Fresh Start
Ariyon has settled in the Black Shroud with his wives and recently become a father. He's become a common sight around the Lavender Beds and reluctantly, even Gridania of late where he operates as an independent goldsmith.
A Lifetime Traveler
Ari has spent a majority of his life traveling all across the star. From boyhood spent in his foster father's caravan, to a career as an adventurer that carried him to the far east early on. He has spent time in Kugane, though he has been to the other islands of Hingashi. Though he does not speak of these times quite so readily, he remarks at having seen fewer things as grand as the Daitenzan.

I go by Ari or Red online mostly, and I'm a writer who just kinda likes rp!I enjoy playing this wild ride of a game and I enjoy making and experiencing wonderful stories with equally wonderful writers.
